To value a community of good people, and to make reuse the natural way to live. MarketIA is where fair neighbours give items a second life — so fewer things are wasted, and more trust stays in the real world.
Who we are
MarketIA is an independent classifieds platform based in Lausanne, Switzerland. We exist first for people who deal fairly: buyers and sellers who keep their word, treat others with respect, and prefer reuse over throwaway culture. Around that community we run a locally hosted marketplace for products, vehicles, and real estate — designed, hosted, and improved in Switzerland, under Swiss law, with AI in Swiss data centers.
What we stand for
A community of good people
Our first motivation is human. We want to recognise and protect people who trade in good faith — the ones who describe honestly, show up, and leave the other person better off. A marketplace is only as valuable as the community it gathers. We build for that community, not for volume at any cost.
Reuse for a sustainable world
Every item already made has a climate and material cost. Giving it another owner is one of the simplest ways to live more sustainably. We exist so reuse, repair, and recycling beat landfill: products stay in circulation, waste falls, and a circular economy becomes everyday practice — not a niche.
Technological sovereignty
Your marketplace should not depend on foreign clouds for its core intelligence. We host the platform and run AI in Switzerland, with processing on national territory, so control, accountability, and continuity stay here.
